St. Louis Magazine and Town & Style

In case you missed it, I’m thrilled to share that I was recently featured in both St. Louis Magazine and Town & Style. Thank you to reporter Christy Marshall with St. Louis Magazine on her reporting style, it was great working with her. You can read the full article online, here, and it was in print in the November Women’s Health 2014 special section.

Town & Style had a recap and photo from the Powered by Hope book signing event at Neiman Marcus. It was a great event, and I felt the crowd had a strong, supportive energy. You can read the full Town & Style Dec. 3 issue online or pick up a print copy.

You may have also seen that Siteman Cancer Center recently launched an ad campaign (including an ad in Town & Style), where they have featured my story. If you have a moment, please watch the video that they produced as part of the campaign.

An Inspirational Evening “Powered By Hope”

An Inspirational Evening

On November 12, I  spoke about my new book “Powered by Hope: The Teri Griege Story” to a standing room only crowd at Neiman Marcus. During this great event, I described my journey – from early battles with alcohol to my diagnosis of and fight against Stage 4 colon cancer and determination to compete in the World Championship Ironman Triathlon. All book proceeds benefit my new foundation “Powered by Hope.”

Great Day St. Louis Powered by Hope

Yesterday I was a guest on KMOV’s Great Day St. Louis and had a chance to talk about my book and newly launched foundation, Powered by Hope. You can watch the clip on the Great Day St. Louis website, or check it out below.

It was so great to be featured on the show once again – thank you to Virginia and Kent for having me as a guest!

Great Day St. Louis

I recently had the fantastic opportunity to share my story with Virginia Kerr at Great Day St. Louis. It was such a great experience meeting her and the segment turned out wonderful. I hope the interview inspires others to feel hope in whatever challenges they are facing and to understand the importance of prevention to their health. You can read more and watch the video at the Great Day St. Louis site, here.

In the story, Virginia mentions the upcoming Women of Achievement Awards event happening this Thursday, May 15. I’ll be sure to post more about the luncheon following the event. You can read more about the Women of Achievement Awards, including this year’s recipients, at woastl.org.
