My family and friends are what motivate me. Without them, I would not have been able to pursue my dream of competing in triathlons and marathons – both before and after my cancer diagnosis. And I pray they will never have to endure what I had to.
Cancer can feel like its own marathon, with the many appointments, tests, surgeries and treatments that fill up your calendar, regardless of what else you had planned.
