There’s Still Time! Colon Cancer Awareness Month

There is less than a week left in March, but there’s still time to get involved in Colon Cancer Awareness Month!  One way you can make a difference is by signing up for the Undy 5000  in St. Louis on March 29. If you can’t attend, but want to help, consider a donation.

The Colon Cancer Alliance (CCA) has put together a list of other ways you can join the cause:

1. “Like” This Page to Donate $1

The folks at Exact Sciences are donating $1 to Colon Cancer Alliance for every new Facebook page “like” and an additional $1 for each online registration for their Be Seen, Get Screened campaign!

2. Retweet to Donate $1 + Code

Throughout March, DollarShaveClub.com is donating 5% of their One Wipe Charlies (butt wipe for men) sales to Colon Cancer Alliance! Also, use code CCAlliance and $5 will be donated to CCA. Check out their blog and Twitter – they’re donating $1 to CCA for retweets and shares of some of their colon-cancer related content! (Applicable posts and tweets note the $1 donation specifically.)

3. Pledge to Get Screened to Donate $5

Take a Stand Image

Take the pledge to get screened and encourage loved ones 50+, and younger for those at higher risk, to do the same. For every pledge taken and shared, Ferring Pharmaceuticals will donate $5 (up to $10,000). Take the pledge at takeastandagainstcrc.com.

4. Shop to Support CCA Partners

Bravelets cause jewelry is doubling their donation this month! If at least 100 bracelets/necklaces are sold from the colon cancer page, they’ll donate $20 to the CCA mission PER item. Help CCA reach 100 – they’re only 6 away! Browse their beautiful blue bracelets and more!

Love Amazon? Shop at smile.amazon.com between now and March 31, and Amazon will donate an extra $5 to the charity of your choice. This is in addition to the regular donation of 0.5% of the purchase price. Shop now.
